The Fluid-bed Technology as foundation for our services
The versatile applicable fluid-bed technology serves as scaffolding for all of our processes. This specific process-technology is deployed in many different industrial branches nowadays.
The ground principle of this technology is based upon a solid-filling, which is streamed by a fluid-medium. The streaming allows the solid particles to be brought into a fluidized state and to be mixed up with the fluid-medium. Hence a free-flowing, loosened mass consisting of fine-grained particles arises. The main characteristic of the fluid-bed process is continuous drying. Therefore, a preset wetness can be achieved easily. A very good heat- and material transfer, as well as a low chance of overheating are further advantages.
By the use of the fluid-bed technology different procedures can be realized. Those procedures aim at an alteration of the physical properties of precursors. The excellent drying-property of this technology paved the way to other procedures such as spray-agglomeration, coating or spray-granulation.
